The Lilolia Rating Explained

On Lilolia, I have decided to go with a rating system broken into 10 parts or bars.  The reason being that the 5 star rating has proven to be inadequate in communicating how I feel about certain books.  The 10 bars allows me an opportunity to show the degree to which a novel was enjoyed (or not).  Below are the explanatory comments for each bar rating:

lilolia rating horizontal 1 bar 1 bar – Such a bad novel I couldn’t finish it.  Not recommended.

2 bars – Readable, but at your own risk.

lilolia rating horizontal 3 bars 3 bars – A below average read.  The plot / dialogue / characters needed more work.
